Arctic subtank review

Well ding dong old fruits!

After the Kangertech Subtank, Joytechs amazing Delta2, I was lucky enough to be able to try Horizon Techs latest Subtank, The Arctic!

This thing rocks! one thing the Kanger let me down on was, when using high VG juice I sometimes got dry hits

Kangertech sorted that issue with the new Plus. Mini and Nanotechnology versions, however at the time it meant the Subtank stayed parked on my shelf, and I returned to my Big Dripper for driving, using in bed etc.

Then came the Delta2, a match of design and function that really really floated my boat, the single one con for me was the 0.5 ohm limit for its pre-made coils, don't get me wrong, I love the delta, but there are times when I wanted a bigger hit, even more dripper like performance and just a tad more flavour.

Enter the Artic!

And what a belter it is! incredibly well made from high grade Stainless steel and Pyrex, super smooth 510 and replaceable drip tip, its a beautiful piece of kit, at 22mm it will fit sleekly on tube mods, however its primary use is atop a Variable mod

With both 0.5 and 0.2 ohm coil options, this old girl billows clouds a plenty, right up to 100 watts!

I am yet to get a dreaded dry hit, even using my own 80/20 high vg juice and you want flavour? wow! this truly knocks the Kanger Subtank for six, and because of its super sub option with that 0.2 coil, it certainly gives my beloved Delta2 a run for its money.

Great performance indeed my friends, convenience and style, solid construction and stellar options make this a great device in my book

If you are looking at high end subtanks and want great flavour with clouds to match, you cant go far wrong with the Horizon Arctic, I'm loving mine

Pip Pip Old beans and here's my more in depth video review
